However, in many cases the initial valuation is insufficient. In this article, I explain how to ensure fair compensation and protect your rights against the Administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Know your rights<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Law on Forced Expropriation establishes that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Expropriation must be based on a cause of public utility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Administration must pay a <strong>fair price<\/strong> that reflects the real value of the asset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can submit allegations and, if there is no agreement, go to the <strong>Expropriation Jury<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Review of the appreciation sheet<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The first step is to review the calculation of the fair price:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Compare the valuation with market prices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyze criteria used by the Administration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Detect errors or omissions in the valuation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>technical and legal review<\/strong> increases the chances of obtaining fair compensation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Presentation of an alternative appreciation sheet<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If the assessment is not adequate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I present a <strong>Motivated appreciation sheet<\/strong> with technical and legal justification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include expert reports and evidence to support the claim.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Negotiate with the Administration before resorting to legal action.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4.
